Great selection, prices, the staff are friendly and helpful, and their stock is always cycling so if you don't find what you need, there's always a good chance it'll eventually find it's way to the shelves from trade-ins. My only gripe is they don't seem to pay any attention to the quality of merch that comes in. I paid $30+tax for a game only to go home and find the underside covered in hundreds of feather scratches like somebody had tried to use dirt to clean it. They're not hard to spot either since they'll show up in any lighting.I hope the owner reads these reviews and starts to be a little more meticulous with their 2ns hand a.
How good is We Got Games? Let me tell you: I have bought games from this place ever since they set up in Shoppers World. Yes, they are that good! Whether you are looking for retro games or new games, they have you covered. Plus, for the most part, their staff is friendly and informative when it comes to their customers. The only issue that prevents me from giving them 5 stars is their console problem. With most of their shelves being stocked with games and movies, there is little room for game consoles. Unless if someone brings in the console you want, you are out of luck.In fact, I am currently holding hundreds of dollars in store credit that I cant use since I dont know when they are going to receive new Nintendo Switches. I have asked them about when the console is going to be available yet all I get as a reply is a cycle of wait till next week since its shipping or give us some time to put it in our stock replies. With contradictory responses like these, waiting can get a bit frustrating.With that said, if you have a need for old or new games and movies, go to We Got Games! If you need a console, it would be better to go to EB Games since their restocking efforts are more consistent.
