When I really needed information..I was told that they couldnt help and couldnt point me in the right direction either.

1. Simple concept of first come first serve need be understood by the staff. While an associate was serving me at the Brampton branch, she wants to serve another person at the same time putting me behind. She can politely say that she first needs to serve the first person. Not a good gesture from an State Bank Of India employee.. 2. There was no expiry date on the debit card & when i want to draw some money for an emergency, the machine says expired card. How anyone can know when the card expires if not there on the card? Then call the customer care, go to branch to get it sorted. Surprised at these inconveniences from a Bank from my home country!
Lots better, customer service in recent times, as compare to previous years. I opened account only with one reason that the bank carried the name of my motherland INDIA. One time I decided to close the account because of harassing behavior of staff.
