Im never using these guys again. They have hidden fees and no transparency, and poor customer service. I booked a move for 4 hours and was sent an estimate of how much it would cost. Once the move was done, I was told there would be additional charges for "dock to dock". I said Id never been told about these (and the moving guy admitted that he hadnt told me), so we called a manager. He told me that he was sure I had been told.I hadnt, both my wife and I were there when we called to book our move and were told the costs, and we werent told about this charge. Further, in the written estimate that we were sent it wasnt detailed. We exceeded the estimated time by 15 minutes so our final price shouldve been very close to the estimate, instead it was $200+ over because of this charge. When I emailed them to complain, it was pointed out that it was in an obscure reference in the fine text, but that they were sure that we were told (so my wife and I are deaf or liars) and that they are "extremely transparent". I was also told that this is standard practice. Well I called another moving company to ask and they said that it wasnt.Finally, why Im being asked to pay $159/hr for an empty truck to drive around when its not on my job is beyond me. Ive moved 16 times in the last ten years in the GTA and never once had to pay for this. This is just appalling.

I hired this company in December 2014 to move from Brampton to Windsor. I was given the price over the phone, I explained I had about 100 boxes and bins, I went over all my furniture in my fully finished 3 bedroom townhouse. They arrived a hour or so late, 9:00am, they took till 6pm to load my stuff, kept complaining I had too much. He starts telling me we cant fit everything so start elimating things you can do without. They took lots of breaks and then informed me that by the time they get to Windsor as it took so long they would not be delivering my stuff till the next day. I went to my new home and had to sleep on the floor after leaving so late to drive to Windsor. The next day they are to deliver at 7am they show up at 8:30 am and dump all my stuff in the rooms, no beds put together like other moving companies in the past. They took no more then 2 hours or less to empty my contents. My visa was provided for a specific Ageed upon price. Spoke several times prior to the move. I found out in a few days my visa has been charged double, over my limit. I contact the company they say extra charges for km, time spent, overnight charges etc. I ask for a breakdown only provided hours. I dont get my single mother discount as promised. After several months of fighting get my small portion of discount back, because I never received the confirmed pricing by e-mail as it was to be sent to me a few days prior to the move. I was busy getting packed didnt realize I never got that email, but got 5 other emails about confirmation dates, times etc, I was unable to dispute the Visa charge with the bank. I was screwed, you have to move out on closing dates, I guess I was lucky nothing seemed to be missing. Beware of this company have your price confirmed, read the contact before you hire any company.
Our good friends moved earlier in 2017 and used the Brampton team and they were extremely pleased with their services. When we were moving we took our friends recommendations and called 2 Men And A Truck to schedule our move date using the same team of movers. The rep on the phone was very pleasant and booking was easy. On moving day, Matt H., Keron and Steve came a few minutes early, which was great to see! The movers were great, we cannot say enough good things about our experience; they work very hard, they were very careful and respectful of our belongings and they are quick non stop! Packing our house and unloading at our new house went smoothly without issues. Ask for Matt H., Keron and Steve, they were amazing! You get what you pay for and 2 Men And A Truck was worth every penny. Top notch service!
Thieves this company is full of thieves I have used them 2 times and both times I noticed some of my furniture is missing, they don't care about the furniture they break stuff!! Also I agreed $1000 for them to move me from Toronto to Brampton and after they moved everything they raised the price to $3000, they left me no choice but to pay them. I do not recommend this company unless you want to get robbed!!
