I find myself going there mostly for the good deal on whole roasted chicken and so conveniently close to home
I usually have a great experience in this store but today I was served by rossete and she was to busy on her phone to even say hi she scanned my items then asked if I wanted a bag told me my total all while on her phone. When I called her out on it and advised I was going to call head office she said "its cigarette order its cigarette order" I stated I dont care what it is its rude and she told me to talk to manager who was on the floor and I said no it's ok I'll call head office then with attitude she said fine call head office I dont care. To me this was very unprofessional and I was not happy with my experience. She needs to be taught customer service skills.
It's 50% more expensive on most items compared to a place like freshco but the 24 hr available grocery items is a major plus point
Nice olacw for groceries in an late night emergency. The hot food they sell doesn't look clean. There was a big green fly inside the hot chicken we were buying.For people who like to go to Tim Hortons there is one inside the store
My choice for emergency food and groceries. Almost always open. This is the store i check first for seasonal plants and flowers, their price is surprisingly low compared to big supermarket. Always check outside for plants in season. As it has already have their own deli, ready made chicken counter, Subway and Tim Hortons, the line is almost always busy as during peak hours ( 8 am and 5 pm). It also has an RBC atm inside which is quite helpful. Although grocery is not much, Rabba carries your everyday basic needs. They have their local flyers so check for weekly or monthly specials all the time. Their bakery is known for their daily specials. This store even has cakes and muffins, pre made salads and sanwiches too. The staff are but a few but interestingly capable of manning the whole checkout and store. If you are eyeing the cooked chicken counter, be sure to be at the store by 6 or 7 pm as it sells fast, they serve it around 11 in the morning, you can but it with a meal with a drink or opt for the whole chicken, a choice of rice or fries on the side.
