I am so happy with my experience today with Dr Noorlander. A few days ago I was involved in a car accident on the way to the vet with my cat in the car. I'm used to feeling helpless on weekends, because I was under the impression that emergency veterinary care was far too expensive for me to use, but it was similar in costs to going to a regular vet, and it was a huge weight off my mind to bring my baby in when I was worried about his behaviour following the accident. Dr Gary was hugely informative, and filled my in on all potential side effects following the accident, and all potential treatment routes we could consider. I learned much about the ailments my cat is currently suffering, and a lot of info about what my kitty could be experiencing, and what I can expect in treatment. Very friendly, well educated, and was great at helping me understand everything I needed to know.Thank you so much I am so thrilled about that this clinic exists.
Thank you to all of the folks at EVC. You made a difficult situation as smooth as possible. It was not easy to decide to put down our cat, Prince, but it was the best thing to do. Thank you for your professionalism and patience.
I brought my female Ausie Shooter in for a second opinion (of which my regular vet North Town suggested). The vet was agreeing with my regular vet but gave me a much lower price than North Town. She was operated in the early morning and I received the call at 2:00 a.m. to tell me she came through the operation with flying colours. Unfortunately, since they do not have a day staff I had to take her to my regular vet for at least a day of which the necessary meds were given to North Town. Shooter had great care and the staff is very nice and wish to make sure your stay is comfortable. I would recommend this hospital for any emergency.
Dr. Gary noorlander was very thorough, very knowledgable and made us feel much better walking out of the clinic than we did walking in. He took his time to explain all of our options and didn't push for expensive treatments. He did not use scare tactics to influence us to spend more than we had to (which I've experienced at another animal hospital in Brampton unfortunately). Definitely won't be taking my guy anywhere else!
We've unfortunately had to use this clinic quite a few times. The last 2 times we've caught quite amazing vets who truly care about the animals in their charge. Both were very thorough is explaining what was happening/what was to be expected. The only downfalls are they close at 8am which poses a bit of inconvenience if you live outside of the area. Secondly the cost of the medications are nearly double what our home vet charges. Regardless, we are very happy theyve been there when we've needed them.
