Hit my patella tendon in the arthroscopy. Forgot to fix my Meniscus.
Dr. Bob Karabatsos is an awesome surgeon. I was back to work after a month having my right hip replaced. Going to have him do my left hip soon so my golf swing is perfect!
Awesome doctor
My MRI was reviewed by Bob and he had a good idea what needed to be done. There was loose material in the knee joint and he found arthritis nodules that were scarfed off while in there. Post surgery I went to physio, but I found that the exercises were very painful to do so after 6 or so times I decided to wait till the surgery healed up a bit. this was just before Xmas holidays and I thought to reevaluate in the new year. I found that it took quite a while (>6 months) for the knee to not pinch when climbing stairs and after a year it was normal again. I never went back to physio. Now some will say that it took me a year to feel normal because I didn't go back to physio, but I feel that it would have taken longer to heal if I had continued doing strenuous exercises that would have self perpetuated the physio cycle and my pain from it. Also the physio clinic was owned by the Surgeon and 4 partners in his office and I felt it was run as a self serving venture, even though the talent at the clinic was very good.
