First of all the mileage on the sheet was different than what was on the vehicle. I told the lady in the store and she said she adjusted it. When I returned the vehicle the charged me for the extra milage. I told the person behind the counter and she said it was not adjusted. I had to wait half an hour to get it fixed and she tried giving me cash for the difference. I stated that I paid with my credit card and wanted it place back on there. The gas gauge was not corrected also on the sheet.My initial $73.96 that was supposed to be put on hold was actually taken out of my card. Waiting for it to be put back in. The workers there are in a customer service position and and should greet people in a friendly manner. A smile would not hurt, people are not there to steal anything we are there for a purpose.The guy that checked my vehicle came right up to me in an manner to try and be intimidating, when I didn't budge and spoke to him firmly, he then talked in a more relaxed manner and backed away from my face a little. Need to improve customer service at this location
These People make it right! The world of rental....with people moving and the stress they bring with it.... must be crazy difficult for those that work here. Returns don't come back as scheduled. Product breaks down. Well I was a recipient of a couple of these. I was supposed to pick up a trailer but the unit had to be sent to repair due to a safety issue with it. They rescheduled me for a pickup later that day and the trailer that was scheduled for return was late. All that said Ashley the manager there made it right. Thank you!
I went to your location to purchase a storage box. On arrival, there was one female of Indian decent serving a customer, while the other was serving a customer and playing on her cell phone in front of the customer and occasionally glancing at the computer screen. I arrived there at 11:20 am and waited in line until the staff got around to dealing with me at approximately 11:40am. After requesting the box and giving the white female attendant a $50:00 bill, she took the money, said nothing, walked away from the counter, went over to her two co-workers who were now joined by a male wearing a hoodie and was in conversation with them. After about 10 mins of further waiting, she Eventually asked me if I had any more change and I told her in had $3. She walked away from the counter right pass me, went somewhere in the back. After about five mins she returned and continued to have a conversation with her co-workers. She finally got around to telling me that she didn't have any change. I think that from the beginning of it all, once she realized that she didn't have change, she could have said so instead of having me wait around for so long. I asked the attendant if she could not have told me this in the beginning instead of having me wait around so long. She just looked at me and I asked her if she thought I was stupid or half of an idiot? The female who as on her phone when I came in said to me, so what do you think she was checking around for. I just flipped her a bird and walked out of the store.There's something called Customers Service and time management which is extremely lacking among these employees. I have always thought that employees are a product of their managers and can only return to their potential customers the kind of service that is given to them by management. It is a discourtesy to your customers to have them wait while your employees have their personal chats going on among themselves and playing on their cell phones while working. I'm sure that customers do have other things to do.Maybe you don't care as they just might be a reflection of their managers!
Received an EXCELLENT, FAST, EFFICIENT, FRIENDLY, & RESPECTFUL SERVICE. All the employees in this location are extremely knowledgeable & ready to serve/answer any questions. They have lots of trucks available & always welling to look around (if truck of your choice is not available). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Had an absolutely horrible experience with this U-Haul today I will never be using this company for moving again. I will not recommend anybody to use U-Haul for moving from this location. When we got to the location at East Dr, Brampton, it took 45 minutes just to reach the counter and the representative was extremely rude and eating french fries right in front of us and ignoring us and being distracted by everything that was going on around. Then she told us that our booking that we booked 3 weeks ago was not for 24 hours but rather until 3 p.m. because it's "subject to availability" which was never explained at the time of booking. This didn't work for us because our elevator in our building was booked for 3. She proceeded to tell us to calling customer service. We didn't have a choice because no other locations had any trucks available so we just took the truck and called the customer service to see if we can extend it for a few more hours. When I called customer service I ended up waiting for 30 minutes and then they transferred me to another department and I got cut off. And so I called again and when I finally got through to somebody she again told me that they could not do anything for me. And then hung up the phone on me. In the middle of moving which is already tiring enough, picking up the truck should be the simplest tasks, but they made it 10x more frustrating. Do not recommend and will definitely be hiring a moving company in the future and avoid moving truck rentals all together.
